The Tecno DroidPad 7C Pro is a compact 3G tablet for shoppers who need a basic touchscreen device for web access, messaging, email, media playback and everyday tablet use. It runs Android 5.1 Lollipop and supports two SIM cards, allowing compatible 2G or 3G mobile connectivity.
Display and everyday use
The tablet has a 7.0-inch IPS capacitive touchscreen with a 600 x 1024 pixel resolution. Its quad-core 1.3 GHz CPU, MediaTek MT8321 processor and Mali 400 graphics processor provide the listed hardware platform for basic applications and media functions. Storage includes 16GB internally, with support for a MicroSD card up to 32GB for additional space.
Cameras and media
The 2MP rear camera supports video, geo-tagging, autofocus and LED flash. A 2MP front camera with flash is also provided. For entertainment, the tablet supports MP3, WAV, FLAC and eACC music formats, as well as MPEG4, H.263, H.264 and XviD video formats. It has a loudspeaker and a 3.5mm headphone jack.
Mobile and wired connectivity
The DroidPad 7C Pro supports 2G GSM on 900 and 1800MHz and 3G WCDMA on 900 and 2100MHz. It does not support 4G LTE. Wireless features include Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n and Bluetooth 4.0. The tablet also has a microUSB 2.0 port and an HDMI port. GPRS, EDGE, 3G/WCDMA/HSPA, instant messaging and push email are listed among its supported functions.
Battery and purchase considerations
