Description
Capacity and everyday use
With 14 place settings, the Hotpoint HDW-1401S is designed to handle a substantial load of tableware in one cycle. Its third-layer cutlery basket provides a separate space for cutlery, while the three spraying arms support water distribution during washing. The silver finish gives the appliance a neutral appearance for modern kitchen settings.
Cleaning programmes and functions
The dishwasher has seven programmes: Intensive, Normal, Eco, Glass, 90 Minute, Rapid and Auto. This range lets you select a cycle for different washing needs. Auto Wash adjusts the cycle according to the selected automatic programme, while Zonal Wash focuses washing on a chosen area. The Memory Function retains the relevant setting for convenient repeated use.
Efficiency and operating sound
The HDW-1401S has an A++ energy efficiency rating, with A cleaning efficiency and A drying efficiency. Its listed noise level is 49 dB, making sound output an important consideration for shoppers planning where to position the appliance. The 1800 W heating element supports the dishwasher's heating function.
Controls and delayed starting
An exterior digital display panel provides the control interface. Indicator functions show low salt, low rinse aid and child lock status, helping you monitor key dishwasher requirements. The 24-hour Delay Start function allows a cycle to be scheduled for a later time, while the Child Lock feature helps prevent unintended operation.
